Considering that "annoying" got his oath after giving test on 4th May, I think the oath's are being given out as per date of application & not date of test.

Waiting.....Was hoping July 1st- But looks bleak for 1st. Why is Vancouver so eager to do the tests & then takes ages for the oath?!

Looks like they are clearing the backlog first to achieve shorter processing times for future reference. Vancouver is the fastest to test but slowest to send out oaths !! :(

True... Majority of Canadians support the new law. There maybe support against it in pockets, but that does not hold any good at the Federal level. It may just get a bit fine tuned by the new Govt. (if their is a change after the elections), but most provisions will remain the same.

The Form does say clearly "I intend, if granted citizenship-to continue to reside in Canada". This does contradict the law. I think the new Adult application form has lot's of errors- They will certainly be revising it soon
