I thought it was 3 years in Canada in a 5 year span. So one more year I guess.

You can get a PR in around one year. Then you will get a 10 months or about time to make your first landing. Then you can get back to US and stay in US for max two years. There is a rule, You have to live in canada for 3 years in the 5 year time span after your first landing. So in your case...

They will send you a package after a successful pre-assessment.Then you fill up the forms in the packet and mail it back. Then after a couple of weeks you will get a file no: HTH

What do you mean by township, is it like the Mayor's office or something.

I think the requirement is minimum 1 year H1B work experience in the US. Since you have already submitted the application(did you get an employee file number) I think you should be fine. Any why don't you give them a call.

Seems like it varies from bank to bank and state to state. Best is to call your nearest UPS,USPS,FedexKinkos and ask if they can do it. I made two failed attempts at two banks in NJ. Finally got it done from Kinkos for a nominal fee. I don't like bankers anyway.

BoA did not do it for me. I went to FedEx Kinkos most Fedex Kinkos has notaries who can sign copies. Banks cannot sign copies that's what I came to know. HTH

I guess job prospects are much better in Alberta than in Ontario. My friend moved to Calgary from Toronto.

You are lucky I tried at two BoA branches they said no. They can't sign copies. Then I went to FedEx they did it.
