I have seen this question a few times now. I can tell you that Alberta is giving you a nomination expecting you to work in their province. You are signing on a form where you agree to this.
Then there are some applicants who want to make use of the AINP for Canadian PR and go and settle in...
Don't worry they won't let fresh starters leap-frog you. I am sure they won't process the new format applicants before completing all the back logs of 2008.
I sent AINP an e-mail to update my mailing address. They replied saying they processed my case and sent the certificate on Dec 29th 2008. My number is -0282. How many days does it take for the mail to arrive?
Congratulations Rasco. I guess there was no query for your application. The last person before you in this thread was XXX XX 195. So it is quite a leap to 241. So I am getting closer then.
Could some one tell me what are the policies of major Political Parties in Canada towards immigration.
Is there any pro/anti immigration parties around.
I couldn't find much information on Liberals and New Democrats vis-a-vis immigration.
Could someone shed some light in this regard?
Thanks
I guess you received the invitation. I am sure there is a check list of items to be sent.
Educational documents, certifications, passport pages, employment letter, recent pay stubs all notarized that pretty much what I sent.

It took more than one month for me to get the invitation package after the acknowledgment. The volume of applications are going up so I won't be surprised if the processing time shoots up.
