I got an email

I received AOR 5 weeks after I sent my husband’s app. It can take up to 8 weeks to get AOR. Sponsorship approval for me came 3 weeks after AOR

First time PR Card renewal here. My Ecas updated to “Application Received” today. I have not received AOR so I was wondering if there’s still a possibility that my application could be returned. Thanks in advance for your input.

There’s a new requirement for biometrics for some applications so I think they are updating all the relevant applications to reflect this. My husband’s app updated as well.

What did it say? Was it automated?

Mlpmm Should be from Mississauga but I’ve seen where others have said KVO said it’s from when they receive it.

You guys would have to make that decision based on what you want and what’s best. He can certainly wait in Canada however he won’t be able to work while he is here & he will have to maintain status. He can start working in HK until the application is finalized or you can wait until he completes...

Work permits are exclusive to inland applicants. You could later apply for a work permit if it was an inland application.

No they won't send it back. You might be required to fill out another one at some point.
