Hi friends, Does “in process” mean the application is in the local office now? Is the background check finished in this case? (BG check gets done in Sydney?)

Is this true that ecas gets updated in the mornings around 7am? If that’s true it will help me to check only once a day I did see my first line on ecas appeared around that time, not sure if that’s always the case.

I called CIC and got the application number. My ecas has been updated to first line today. Maybe someone can kindly update my timeline.

I checked ECAS today, and now I see the first line (wasn’t there yesterday). Application was delivered on 9 Sept 2020.

I sent by FedEx, with signature requested, but it got delivered without signature.

You are correct. In the first two columns enter the date you left Canada and the date you entered Canada. Destination is the first country you visited after leaving Canada. In the reason section mention other countries you visited.

Just wanted to add that the single day trips to US won’t count as an absence day. But still they should be entered in the physical presence form.
