Hey , are you sure you were allowed to get married and received marriage certificate ? Tunisian laws forbid Tunisian women from Marrying non-mulsim men ! You should look into that , CIC might want to know how did you manage to marry her while you are not a Muslim !!

No they don't , they only share criminal records . U.S can't see anything unless it was provided by Canada and vice versa

I think you should enter the date your moved in Together , because CIC will want to make sure you lived together for one Year . you are eligible to apply as common-law if you lived together for at least one Year , CIC will want to see proof of the that one year not the time afterward . Unless...

Stay here , don't lose your PR Status , Find a Job and a place and don't worry about CIC they won't find out and you are not their problem anymore .

Hi , How can you be on Month 16 if your time line show you sent your application on August 11 , 2015 ? that's barely 6 Months ? I'm on Month 3.5 and not feeling very good .

Nothing yet , I don't think the newly posted time is accurate as they now changed it to 26 Months and Federal Self Employed changed to 111 Months . I believe we still fall under the same previous processing time of 6 to 18 months for MVO .

Check the Economic Class >> self employed ( Federal ) its showing 111 Months , I think the new government hired incompetent IT People , Now one will wait 111 Months , unless they are dinosaurs.

Hi there , I sent my application on September 24th , Received AOR and SA , CIC said they have forwarded my file to Mexico City , but I have no ways to confirm that is true , I think its still sitting in Mississauga . is there a way to know if they actually sent it ? Thank you
