    Happiness is reaching magic score..!

Congrats man! I mostly used the E2 IELTS for my practice as well. But the one thing that I didn't like was that suggestion to use PPF for the Speaking. I had first practiced it his way but a day before my speaking I noticed some people commented that their examiner was not happy and stopped...

What to do if average balance of 6 months is less than the required PoF

@jaffaral Hey man, hope you don't mind helping clarify something since I have an account with ADCB as well. I have a couple of questions: 1. Should I ask the bank for a stamped 6 months bank statement and a no liabilities letter? Did you have to visit their branch or was it possible to request...

    Work Experience in EE

As far as I know, you have to include the experience letter for all the jobs you list under Work History. If you did not require your current job's experience letter, than you should have left it for your Personal History section. Someone else can verify this but that's what I've read.

Help me understand WES assessment based on my educational documents

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but you need to get your ECA done for your highest degree, in your case being you bachelor's. I don't think there's any need for giving your high school certificates because it doesn't earn you any points anyway.

I need specific details about ielts test special requirements

Hmm, well I looked around a bit and found another bit of information here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/language-requirements/language-testing.html Scroll down to the section that says: Averaging your language...

I need specific details about ielts test special requirements

Hey man, I'm sorry to hear about your situation and though I'm not an expert in IELTS, they do seem to have Special arrangements for people with any kind of disability which I'm sure you already know of: https://takeielts.britishcouncil.org/book-your-test/special-arrangements So if you can get...

    Computer based ielts

I can only speak for myself but I personally think he computer-based is a bit easier than the paper-based. The questions are the same, however, you can copy-paste words from the passage directly in the Reading section for example (avoid misspelling by mistake this way), it also shows you at the...

    Computer based ielts

I didn't notice any highlighting or underlining in Listening. Since the spelling and grammar are crucial in the paper-based test, it should matter in the computer-based as well.

Lol maybe a little bit of that but also because the 7 looks worse now, but also because if for some reason the Canada doesn't work out for me I'll try for Australia and if somehow mine increases to 8 then I'd get more points there.

Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees

I think this thread discusses this: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/two-or-more-certificates-degrees-or-diploma-lets-get-it-sorted.560332/#post-6938934

Oh no, sorry I meant a big jump in points for moving from 6.5 to 7. But from the person I spoke to at the British Council, you can be hopeful to increase your by 0.5 or 1 point if you really think you did better. I went ahead with it because I felt confident, and if I'm right I'll get the full...

That's a big jump for 6.5 to 7. I applied for a remark today to see if I can change my 7 to 7.5. While the 3 points won't do anything, it was just annoying to be so close to getting maximum points or a CLB 10.

You seem like in the same boat as myself. I read that while the Reading and Listening scores rarely change, the chances of the Writing or Speaking to increase is more. So just how much difference will a 7 or 7.5 make in your crs score? I think from 6.5 to 7 in Writing adds several points.

I know what you mean and I am definitely grateful to God for the result, but since I am actually waiting for my ECA (which might take a couple of weeks since one of my uni will only send my documents next week), I decided that I'd take the chance.

    Partial ECA

Hello everyone, So I've sent my 2 master's and 1 bachelor's degrees to WES for the evaluation. I did it for both my masters just in case I might need it in Canada (?) Not sure but didn't want to find out later and pay another $250 for it. Anyway, so the bachelor's and one of the master's was...

    I'm in two minds about an EOR. Here's how I fared: 1st attempt (Feb 2015) Paper-based L 8.5 / R 6.5 / W 7 / S 8.5 2nd attempt (Feb 2019) Computer-based (Didn't apply on time with the first result) L 9 / R 9 / W 7 / S 9 I kind of feel annoyed that I just needed a 7.5 in the Writing to get the...
