This is really good to know. Thank you so much for writing all these down. Our application is not there yet so I never give it a thought or looked into these. But $1200 was quite a surprise to be honest. The parents have pensions in their country too so we should be able to manage the expenses.

Yes her medical was done and passed in July 2019. Our file got delayed for so long because my dad's medical was deemed inadmissible at the beginning. It was reassessed and finally passed this March. This is a public policy, I'm sure it will be applied to all eligible applicants sooner or later.

no one is in home country. I think we have a good case, my father is not on dialysis. I’ve even seen one case similar to ours won at the court. But that’s at appeals, too far down the road, hopefully IRCC will consider that ruling when process our case.

It means Excessive demand. Mostly like the medical exam resulted a M05 and it did not overcome public policy.
