If no interview requested or additional docs, usually if it's a straight DM from time of application - it's positive! PPR can take a few days to weeks or next day - very random as seen on various threads here!

Congratulations - happy times ahead! Usually in person. In case she can't go - call CHD VFS and ask if someone else can go submit along with the relevant authority letter from your wife. Fees are to be paid in cash!

Your representative will receive PPR email. Sometimes they aren't as proactive in informing clients immediately from what I have read on these forums. Check with your representative again asking them to inform immediately and check all their email folders. If you don't get anything in the next...

Did she live anywhere else for 6 months or more outside of India? How long has she been in Canada? Did they specify Indian PCC. I think your plan is good. Apply for a new PCC and respond to them through CSE and email that you had submitted the PCC upfront (attach a copy) with the application...

So quick update! I haven't been on mycic for weeks and weeks, decided to check today randomly ...and my bgc is in progress!!! I am in shock... lols! Didnt expect to see that at all :) and no idea when the status changed coz I didn't get any notification on email to say there is an update!

Interesting - I have extensive foreign travel as well, including to Canada. Will be curious to see if my bgc takes longer because of that! Lols

Do you have a lot of overseas travel? Always curious to see if people with a lot of foreign travel have longer BGCs.
