Re: NO MR YET Have you raised CSE? If not, do it. There is no harm in raising CSE. One of our friends on this forum was waiting for PPR after DM. After some 10-15 days when he raised a CSE, vo informed that they had already sent him PPR before 10 days. Surprisingly, there was not email...

You are correct. The only formality remaining before border entry is Passport Request. The additional lines you got are relating to past. You may safely ignore it. To be on safer side, it is advisable to contact visa office if you do not get Passport Request within 20-25 days of DM.

They are talking about MR mail, I guess. 9th May (5/9) Letter or Communication means Email only, as CIC does not send physical letters now.

This trend has been noticed recently. But these lines belong to past. You do not need to worry at all. If its decision made, you will get PPR without any doubt. Its a matter of some days.

Congratulations for the successful completion of you application. 1) You may buy any tickets that you find cheaper. Its a matter of 25-30 hours. The Only important thing is that it flies and lands you safely in Canada. :D 2) My ticket is Ahmedabad->Mumbai->Paris->Toronto. From Mumbai onward...

I have been through this stage. In fact, most of us have been through it. There are many september and october applicants waiting for DM/PPR and some are even waiting for MR. You have done everything that was in your control i.e., sending documents, raising CSE, writing mail etc. Now you have...

Tracking link is http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india/track_your_application.html Tracking number looks like: YYYYMMDDxxxxxxx00000 YYYY= 2015 MM = month of submission DD = day of submission xxxxxxx = these are alphabets. It should start with "IN". But I am not sure 00000 = this is...

CSE will be a preferred way. But the attachment size allowed in CSE is limited to 3.5 mb only, I guess. In MR mail, VO gives an option to send scanned copies of passport with a condition that it should not exceed 4 mbs. So you may also send an email. Hard copies have to be sent along with...

There are many things that can prove that you know each other for long time and that this marriage is authentic. If your wife has been using post paid number, you may send copies of mobile bills highlighting your number. There may be e-mail history or something. So far as photographs are...

I do not think VO will directly reject any application without giving opportunity to the applicant to explain him/herself. Background check being before or after MR depends upon working style of particular VO. We have seen in past that December applicants getting visa before Sept-Oct...

In my opinion, VO, in MR mail, asks for copies of Passport "with which you intend to enter Canada". That means, it is better to renew your daughter's passport in Tatkaal scheme and send new passport. They will stamp visa in the passport copies of which were given at the time of MR mail, in my...

Totally Agree with you HMO...!! It is not sensible idea to add spouse after getting visa. The whole case will be in jeopardy. There are some points to be considered. 1) Adding partner will catch vo's attention about authenticity and intention of the marriage. 2) As per my opinion, two people...

You have to return your visa and add your spouse. Your spouse will need to go through Medicals, Background/Security Checks etc. Your marriage will be scrutinized, if vo has even the slightest doubt about authenticity of your marriage. You will be provided PPR again, if everything is found...
