Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

Did most people landed in Feb receive PR cards? I am trying to understand how long is the backlog. Edit: No one is March received it. So looking for Feb landers.

Officer at landing gave me a copy instead of the original COPR!

I think you pasted the post link by mistake?

Officer at landing gave me a copy instead of the original COPR!

The paper is thinner than the original, and as you can see in the image I attached in OP, it has the vertical line marks of the copier machines. I was questioned of the authenticity at two different ICBCs, they had to review it multiple times with lens before approving.

Officer at landing gave me a copy instead of the original COPR!

Do they give both the papers back? They took both papers, the one with the picture and the otger one, gave back the copy of the one without picture, and made us sign that.

Officer at landing gave me a copy instead of the original COPR!

I wonder if there would be any problem in future for not having the original COPR. Landed in March 2020, the COPR I signed is a photocopy of the original as identified by folks at ICBC. The officer probably mistaken the copy for original while making me sign it, so the sign is original but not...

    COPR missing landing date

Hey, I have similar issue, the COPR I signed is a photocopy of the original. The officer probably mistaken the copy for original while making me sign it. Is there a way to fix it? So far no problem with getting license, SIN, etc, but wondering if it would be an issue later. Problem is I landed...

New PRs having luck finding a housing in this pandemic?

Where would you recommend to find these places? Also, what to lookout for in the lease terms? We are looking for a short term place to stay in Vancouver until we figure where one of us would find employment. I think probably a month-to-month lease would be ideal for us.

    Gettin New SIN Number

My partner and I applied within seconds between each other, yet we had a difference of 350. Its in higher 26** series I don't believe that many people applying online (or even in Mail). Almost everyone who landed before March had a SIN. Don't think thousands of people applied on mail and online...

New PRs having luck finding a housing in this pandemic?

Thought I would create this thread for new PRs to share experiences or ideas in finding housing amid this pandemic. It's been hard to get a SIN or a Job. Has the requirements been eased? Rents gone down?

    Gettin New SIN Number

Just got a call back from SC after submitting the form 24 hours ago, they said they cant provide any info as all the SIN requests are being processed by one office in NB and we have to contact them at 18662746627. I tried calling and no luck talking to someone. Let me know if someone is able to.

    Gettin New SIN Number

I understand I am not obligated to provide SIN to landlord, how likely do you think one is to be able to find a housing in Van/TTO without SIN? Also, you are missing employers. According to the Employment Insurance Regulations, which came into force on April 30, 2013, employees are required to...

Did you include a cover letter of some sort explaining the urgency? I remember reading that you have to justify the urgency for mail application. Not sure if its still a requirement.
