I have a valid visit visa for Canada and am in the process of receiving CoPR (PP at Ottawa). If I wish to travel back to USA (or some other destination) after my first landing on PR visa in Canada, can I re-enter Canada using an existing valid visit visa for Canada? This is assuming that I do...

completed PhD in united states in F1 visa if this is eligible for express entry?

CIC website clearly mentions that the job description must match, NOT the title. Also, just make sure you have your Masters degree before you started teaching, since that is the minimum degree requirement for 4011 with CIC. And @ContactFront : Thank you for being outright BRUTAL and WRONG at...

completed PhD in united states in F1 visa if this is eligible for express entry?

They know that teachers do not teach during summer (even full time professors), but part of your duties as TA is research. And you never stopped doing research during summer, thus, it is continuous employment. In your experience letter match the duties with 4011, and it will work. Read NOC 4011...

Using foreign PhD as work experience

@y2dou: You don't pay tax due to an agreement between your country and USA. Your schools' payroll office will make you sign papers (or at least they have them in your name) stating the binational agreement. That may be a reasonable explanation for not deducting tax, but you must still get w2 forms.

    PCC - Pakistan

I received an ITA on July 12th, and submitted my e-AOR on Oct. 10th. On Oct 25th I received a decline mentioning that my Police certificate from my home country does not cover the complete period of stay as I mentioned in my travel/address history. I left my country in August 2009, and my PCC...

Incomplete Application due to PCC dates: Suggestion please

I considered LIVED and VISITED are different. And I was LIVING in my current country of stay, and my country of birth was a country I was visiting for few days. Thus, I omitted the dates. But now I stand corrected. Thank you.
