I think you mean March 2018. Same case for me but with Mississauga office. Honestly, I'm not expecting the invite to come before one year from Application received date!

Yes, they are one of the slowest due to the high load of applicants. while for Scarborough office you might get the test invite earlier than others, the invitation for oath usually comes around 1 year after your application is received. That's just my observation based on the reported cases here.

I think around half of people here (or a bit less), are in your situation which makes it normal. I'm in process since 18 June and nothing yet as well.

Mississauga office is one of the slowest offices to send the test invite. Unless you receive QA or fingerprint, I believe it would be fair to assume you won't be receiving anything from them for the next two months.

As long as decision is not made on his application, there is still a chance for IRCC to ask for additional documents even after the interview/test. As long as he meets the requirements, there is nothing to worry about.

Well, once they send the application from Nova Scotia to your local CRC, the agent will mark it as "in transit". This status will stay as is until an agent from the local office picks it up and starts working on it. So "in transit" doesn't really mean your application is still on the way, but...

Don't worry. It's normal that the status for minor won't change on ECAS to DM along with your application. Your child will be able to attend the oath ceremony with you and he/she will be granted citizenship automatically with you.Congratulations!
