No, mine is a tourist visa from UAE. There is no medical requirement for it.

How are the UAE folks doing? Any updates? I still have no update yet. Heard they were restarting Express Entry today. Let's see if that gives them a nudge in some way to work on applications.

I completely understand. My wedding was on 23rd July. My fiancee still hasn't gotten the visa. Will probably have to move it to a later date. Or I might go back to India and get married, which considering the situation there is going to be a nightmare.

At least with Canada there's a good chance your visa can be processed in 2 weeks, like 2 of my family members. With US, everyone has to wait minimum an year.
