Well, I noticed the similar message in the relevant forum today, apparently due to some update related issue. Hopefully, it will be okay now if you check again. By the way, what is your timeline?

It got resolved and no change in the status.

Visit visa for infant
Location - dubai
Submitted in new IRCC portal - 13th Jun
Review started on Jun 15th..
No updates post that..

I still have no update yet. Heard they were restarting Express Entry today. Let's see if that gives them a nudge in some way to work on applications.

Btw, the processing time for UAE has increased from 56 days to 59 days now.

I am at 86 days today.

It can take a much longer time to verify the more sensitive info submitted like past links to organisations, previous occupations, travel destinations etc. Background checks certainly take time. The indicated processing time is for very straight forward applications.

I have got a small update. My review of additional documents change to not applicable yesterday. I don't know what that exactly mean.

what was the previous status?

mine shows as "we do not need additional Documents"

Hi There,

Applied for new born child's more than 6 months visitor visa with base location of UAE. Me and my wife are PR holders outside of Canada.

Applied on 5th July. Received ghost update 2 days later but nothing was updated. Not sure what that meant.

Decision will be updated on your application via portal itself. Based on approval then follow the steps.

I have one more question, I want to travel to UK soon. Can I get my passport stamped from VFS there if approved?
