I got the document list in 2.5months after reporting the marriage, so I think they will get back to you soon, is your spouse inland or outland? If your spouse needs a police certificate in Canada, its better to do it in advance cos it takes almost 2 months to get it now.

No problem, just one more thing, I would strongly recommend your partner to apply for the police certificate asap, , cos they are currently in high demand and it took us 2 months to get it from RCMP, if you do it ahead it will save you a lot of time.
