just an update.. applied for OCI for minor on 5th October walk-in got the oci on 2nd nov. BLS=Calgary jurisdiction=Vancover OCI printed = 26th oct Purolator delivery = 2nd nov.

currently issued entry visa is for 3 months. As I was told by BLS Calgary. The regular visitor visa is for 6 months.

Yup, will need to get tested once you land in india, before collecting your bags. Coming back is even a bigger headache, where only place you can take test is at delhi airport I hope you have good layover at delhi because once you go out to take the test they won't allow you in untill 7hrs...

Entry visa is only issue for 4 months. I was told by BLS.

Just sharing the timelines I was given by BLS. Although I am not sure about actual timelines. I applied at Calgary for Vancover jurisdiction for Minor. the lady told me it will take 4-5 weeks. Also Entry visa takes 6-7days (although they way 15 days)

Hey Guys, My parents has biometric request with deadline for 08 July 2021. The letter says our application will be refused if no biometric is submitted within deadline. Is it advisable to apply for extension or will my parents application put on hold.. waiting for your sugesstions.

When the VAC open you need to book an appointment with them, last before it closed the VAC didn't accept appointment for visitor/supervisa category and as stated on other forum pages. People got their Biometrics done from Nepal/Bangladesh/dubai for visitor category.
