They maybe able to check that you are in process of getting the BOWP with your UCI and the reference number I would just wait for the BOWP unless it's a couple months away to get it and land it after you receive the BOWP. :P

I am from visa exempt country and I also have received PPR as well and was asked to send copy of passport not actual passport ;) I think COPR (confirmation of permanent residency) means the document when CIC send you back after PPR so that you can land in Canada..
