I have applied for CBSA notes on 1st April but got the notice of extension of time of up to 90 days to provide the notes. They aren't bothered about the delays, every single immigration section is overwhelmed due to backlogs !!

Seems like this thread is dead. No updates for Dec applicants. Processing time is 123 days now.

Applied on 21st dec. Still waiting. It's not necessary that eligibility will start, you may get direct PPR, many other have got that

No updates, it's still same. Nov applicants are still getting/waiting for decisions, looks like it will take another month to pick applications applied in 2nd half of dec.

Doesn't look like they reached Dec files yet. People who applied in Nov are still waiting as per the Nov thread.

If the biometric number is updated on the top then your are fine, it's a glitch of GC key system that the message still shows we have not received the biometrics even when the biometrics are updated.

They haven't provided any specific definition of what a crisis situation is, but processing times over 99days in itself is not a crisis situation in my opinion.

Apply gcms notes if you actually want to check the status of your file. Most of the people here are getting results in 3-4 months of the biometric.

I got that, you will have the option to withdraw your sponsorship application, if visitor visa is approved. It's just an option with better chances of approval in your case, upto you if you wanna go ahead with this route or not.

Congratulations. When did u apply for the first time? were both applications made in new portal?

Going by the trends, we may start seeing some movement in Apr for dec applications, but again thats just pure speculation and no defined source behind this information.

We can reapply in the new portal again, no issues in that. I personally am not reapplying coz it's already been around 3 months since I have applied and people here are getting decisions in around 4 months or so, what if the old application is cancelled and they make us wait again for 3-4 months...
