That's correct, have seen many posts where applicants directly got the PPR without any change in status.

Applied through my company's attorney, I don't have visibility on eligibility status.
Going by the trends, we may start seeing some movement in Apr for dec applications, but again thats just pure speculation and no defined source behind this information.
The processing time has now updated to 99 days for India. I guess it is just a waiting game. Travel tickets were booked for March end. Applied in December, now will have to cancel and rebook at additional cost. Never saw a simple visitor visa take this much time. Had applied for Australia a few years ago, got a visa in less than 20 days. This is just insane and costly.

I received PPR march 14 and elegility status never changed, only final decision change with approve

Does it help to send a webform once application is still in progress beyond processing time listed on website? Will they process it faster? Has anyone tried and achieved results?
Not really coz I have pr approval I sent it in webform yet they didn’t make decision on my visa

I applied a visitor visa for my fiancee from Canada with a lawyer on Dec 2. She is from Afghanistan and after 3 month I got her a visa for Pakistan so she can do her biomatric there. It's been almost to 2 weeks since her biomatric and the only way I can check her stutus is by calling ircc phone service. The status says they are checking her back ground. Any idea how long more till decision. I also sent a webform but no reply yet.
I’m not trying to be the bad news guy ,
Ircc lately been picky some applications would go in days .others at least 3-6 months just for visitor visa it’s ridiculously unbelievable
