    Early travel

I take my comment back as the recent situation at the Toronto POE is changing. I was questioned why I arrived so early for May 2021 intake however I manged to tackle the officer giving legal reasons. However in the next counter, saw one guy (winter 2021 intake) getting 3 months study permit...

judicial review after study permit rejected, please urgent help!

Severe cases are usually banned through a procedural fairness letter without any option to respond. You are lucky that you have been given 15 days to respond. Just reply back soon and state the facts that it was accidental, its pretty much straightforward. Just make sure you provide extensive...

    Early travel

There are accounts of people travelling earlier than 45 days pre-covid, don't think its an issue at all nowadays. The 3 week prior guideline is rumour that has been around for ages.

    Early travel

Very odd usually spring intakes have start dates between May 1st or 3rd (including mine) Like @rush13 said one can push it to 45 days but its not encouraged, around 35 day range is just suggestive.

    Students loan enquiry

Showing loans may weaken ties and can be a ground for refusal if the VO is not satisfied. It's only encouraged only if the school carries a high reputation i.e Tier 1 / Tier 2 schools

showing documents such as apartments when applying for a visa

SAIT is a great school. This thread is going out of topic, OP has been informed of the consequences and there is nothing more else to it. An institution is something between a college and an university. SAIT offers degree and post graduate programs as well. If schools with the term "institute"...

showing documents such as apartments when applying for a visa

Search old threads on this forum, many have been banned for showing sudden large influx of bank statements and assets with no historical proof of developments. Assets are similar and must not give a manipulative impression. It's encouraged only in specific cases if something is jointly owned...

Study visa 2nd attempt after refusal

There is a place on the application form where it asks for any previous application to IRCC either directly or indirectly or be it any links it should be mentioned over there.

Study visa 2nd attempt after refusal

Reputation matters a lot and can easily overpower. Many get approved after masters using this strategy. No, only counts if you hide a completed degree. It took several months (almost a year) to get approved and the gap was filled in rightly. Applied through a lawyer and followed all legal...

Study visa 2nd attempt after refusal

26 is nothing. Mid 20s are good as early 20s. Ones over 30 are scrutinised since they are usually married. It's normal for management people since they have several years of work experience.

Study visa 2nd attempt after refusal

Appreciate the question but prefer to keep it unseen due to the nature of competitive admission however it's decently reputed and a public DLI and not a highly reputed nor an obscure one. It won't matter much because I already have an honours MBA and the experience to back it up hopefully.

Study visa 2nd attempt after refusal

Continuing business education studies after an MBA is a great combo for career growth. However, unfortunately Canada does not favour post graduation after masters and visas are scrutinised all the time unless it's a very convincing or strong ( 10/10 LOE). Was aware of this before applying for a...

Should I change course after refusal?

Only solution and suggestion for the OP is to complete a bachelor and try again in the future. Hard to get approved visas for high school graduates (or along with a certification) or overturn it for this specific category.

Many get approved after a refusal and it's not the end. Hope you get a positive decision.

    Eligibility review required.

Applied on May 2020, deferred to 2021. Back then my timeline of around 6 months was considered as a miracle and surprisingly received the right dates with extra months. At present you can expect faster decisions since the processing time has been reduced.

    Eligibility review required.

Mine happened the same way when I applied last year and got approved in December 2020 for May 2021 intake. Think it happens to low risk applicants. Maybe the pattern means the VO is interested to give an early decision like it happened to me.
