nothing is right. his course is short in length and he needs to show as many documents as possible, showing additional ties, work, assets etc
so you understand that it's not right, then why would you suggest your friend doing such a thing?

I suggest he increase his own chances. He doesn't want to do it because it is as if too much paperwork to do but I will see ho he will do.

he doesn't have to show any assets in his country that's true because embassy doesn't require that that's true
i'm not gonna go back and forth about this, but all in all, I think its a really REALLY bad idea to misrepresent his assets and claim properties that are not his as his own, even if you think he might increase his chances of success in applying for a study permit that way. that's all I have to say about it now.

So if your dad or mom transfers an asset to your name in the paper as per your logic it is misrepresentment? it is a wide range of practice where a parent transfers the assets to his/her own kid no matter what age. you don't believe me then do your own research.
In case your parents end up transferring something to you it is a really REALLY bad idea no matter your initial purpose(either selling or applying or keeping)

I have no clue why you are suggesting all of this (transferring of property) or talking about the property at all for a short-term course. It makes sense if this course was a 1 year graduate certificate or a 2 year masters program. And you also mentioned "your friend" will be on vacation for 2.5 months during this period. I'm utterly confused. If you're saying he's going to Canada to study a 4 month course and will return to resume his job at the same company, then all of this is unnecessary. His chances are 50-50 at best, in my opinion. Since a 4 month course is fishy to begin with, in my opinion.

Regardless, if you think what you know is right, don't bother looking for advice here or anywhere else. You will get conflicting opinions. Just do what you think is right.

Search old threads on this forum, many have been banned for showing sudden large influx of bank statements and assets with no historical proof of developments. Assets are similar and must not give a manipulative impression. It's encouraged only in specific cases if something is jointly owned, provided extensive proof of ownership is shown. You are welcome to play Russian roulette.

what exactly confuses you? A person can not take a vacation and go study learn something new especially if he has 70 days vacation time off excluding Saturday Sandays and the rest required time he will take off work by advising them.
Or 4 months in length course confuses you? I can send you a link to the course so that you can see yourself that it is a legit famous school.
Chances are up to the officer to decide to give or not
