Yes !! it is recommended to apply his vistor visa and then OWP after landing. As your marriage is new , Apply his inland PR after a while. It is just a advice.

In my honest opinion , if you got anything more than 440 CRS after putting your spouse as accompanying , make her accompanying . 440+ is a tremendously good score for ITA.

She got her PR application approved last year. If anyone have a logical reason for non-accompanying spouse, CIC probably listen him/her.

its good if temporary resident visa/visitor visa is not required in your case. Again, After landing you can apply for Open Work Permit and you can stay for longer than 6 months. INLAND spouse PR application , you can file anytime after landing.

In my opinion you should apply for temporary resident visa. After landing you can again apply for Open Work Permit and you can stay for longer than 6 months. INLAND spouse PR application is always open to you after landing.
