UPDATE: Dec 21st inland applicant - My wife (PA) got her medical request today! Whoo! Booked an appt for June 29th in Toronto as it’s when we’re available to go. Doc offered June 19th but we’re working that day. Will update in the spreadsheet tonight or tomorrow.

We are Dec 21st applicants too and should be expecting med request soon sometime this month as I've seen others (Dec 7th, 11th, 12th, and 13th) got theirs.

me too - dislike the outland and inland mixed in.. too busy to read. check out the spreadsheet link in my signature. It's for inland only, which I am one.

4 months for OWP. 6-7 months for med request. 11-12 months for SA/AIP/DM.

Dec 21st applicant here and my wife has yet gotten her med request yet. I see in the timeline spreadsheet (found in my signature) that the Nov apps are starting to receive them. Looks like June would be the Dec apps receiving them.

You get AOR for the PR app only, not the OWP.

SA (sponsor approval) doesn't happen until the end of the process (average 12 months timeline).

It takes about 12 months for the process to complete. Give or take a month or two, whether you applied outland or inland. If you applied with OWP, it takes 4 months to receive OWP. approximately 6-7 months to receive a medical request. approx 11th month to receive DM (decision made). Every...

As to checking MyCIC and ECAS every so often, I've learned not to bother checking so much because there's a lot of waiting for pretty much the whole process. I only check MyCIC & ECAS when I know it's close to that time like the medical requests for Dec apps should be around June (usually 6-7...

Since a lot of the November apps are getting their medicals this month, I'm assuming the December apps (including me) would get the medicals in June. According to the timeline spreadsheet (in my signature), most got their medicals at around 6-7 months mark from the date of app received.

We're the Dec 21st applicant. My wife got her OWP in April. I see in the 2017 thread that the Nov 2017 applicants are starting to receive their medical requests, so the Dec 2017 applicants will be receiving med requests soon likely next month. So exciting to know when something is coming!!
