Got the GCMS notes couple of weeks ago and am pleased to read that all's good on our apps. I was worried about the medical part but my wife's condition has been deemed not sufficient to exempt application. Yay! Now looking forward to AIP/SA/DM!!

From what I read through the forums for a few months - some got only one AOR, and some got two AOR (one to sponsor, and one to applicant). I guess that's normal.

My wife found a job easily on OWP with restrictions, but that job is temporary as she hates it until she finds work (in the healthcare field as her preferred career) as she now has OWP without restrictions.

UPDATE: Flagpoled at the Thousand Islands border yesterday with my wife to lift the restrictions from the OWP. (See our timeline in my signature.) It was quick and easy. Officer took approximately 10-15 mins to process the new OWP. We didn’t pay the $255 fee. Whoo! I recommend to flagpole there...

My wife and I plan to flagpole next week at 1000 Islands border. Are you sure that one serves any day of the week? NFalls border only serves on Tues to Thurs.

Yes I have CDN passport and will bring it with me. My wife is Deaf and I am Hard of hearing. It’s easier if I accompany her to interpret for her. No we just need to lift restrictions from her OWP. The sooner it’s lifted, the sooner she gets work in the health care field. It’s not for PR.

Those that are flagpoling for COPR, do you have to have AIP letter in order to get COPR at the border?
