You have the 3 month waiting period from the date you got AIP. Our letter was sent 26 Feb, we went to serv ont 5 March... coverage starts 26 May.

With AIP, you can go and get the SIN with a 9... good enough to work... with PR she exchange it. AIP gives you: OHIP / OWP / SIN... ready to go and start an almost normal life!!!!!

They say the same about Etobicoke, and we got the letter in 2 days, and the interview in 9 days.... Hope for the best!!!!!

With the letter to the applicant that states "you are eligible for permanent resident...." proof of address and passport, you go to service Ontario to get the OHIP... It has to be "the full service one" (we did it yesterday) We didn't apply for OWP right away with the hope that PR will follow...

I totally agree... If they don't ask you all kind of questions (meaning they want to confirm your identity before giving out any personal info), then you are getting "the record machine agent" Don't give up, don't let them to take you down... ;)

In my case, when I got the main page on e-cass changed from "in process" to "desicion made" the tracker didn't catch it, But when all the details showed on e-cass the tracker send me the info... It was almost a week apart between both updates... I'd keep looking the web...

Yes... keep calling until you get a helpful one. Last time I called, I got the "agent record machine" just repeating what we can see on the web. Hang up, call back right away, and this nice lady gave all the info.

So happy to see this!!!!! Believe it or not... once your case is over, you don't feel really over until your "whole team" cross the end!!!! Now, relax... let the time and the process go by... for sure this is a sign, in a near future all this will be only a nice story to tell to your grand...

BTW: Medicals were expired 4 month ago. Police record (from home country), expired before they received the application We attached in our application fingerprints from Canada. We paid the fee for PR all together with the application. There's no dependents involved.
