The issue is my current work permit is like reaaally closed, not just to my employer but also to a particular location and doesn't allow me to work across Canada. I am going to continue with the same employer but at a different location from June 1st. So need the BOWP asap...

Hi All I am an October 2014 CEC applicant and I got my AOR in Feb. Since then, as with so many others, there have been no updates to my application. I have the PCCs for me and my spouse, should I go ahead and send them to CIC without them asking for it? Has anyone done that? Thanks

Hi All I am on a closed work permit and my company wants me to leave Canada soon. My wife is working on SOWP - if I resign to stay back in Canada can she continue to work till the validity of her WP? Or, we will be forced to leave Canada because the primary applicant (Me) no longer has a job...

Thats encouraging. Just so that I get it completely - I apply for BOWP -> I leave the country -> I come back with a valid resident Visa (which I already have) and a BOWP issued - should be OK at the border. By the way, would it matter if I have a job offer in Canada or not?
