User BellRanger Edmonton Here are the details. Application was received on 2nd November. AOR was sent on December 6th. Start processing my application on January 3rd. Got an email about my citizenship test on February 20. Test booked in 2nd week of March.

Even October is quiet....

Wondering if some Edmonton Oct applicants are still hanging around waiting for test request....hopefully they havent stopped checking this thread. Its so damn slow in Edmonton.

Call(or email) your MP rather than call center. Tell him/her there is long wait at Edmonton IRCC and work with Hon. Immigration minister Hussein to solve the problem. Sohi @ parl.gc.ca

No One.....Lot of dec 1st week Edmonton in-process are still waiting. Nov applicants started getting in-process in Jan 3rd week. ....So you can guess.

Why didnt she verify right away? They have CBSA records infront of them.

Its FP.... FP doesn't delay much IMO. RQs are a nightmare IRCC imposes randomly.

I have to travel out of Canada in April, but that is approximate time(hopefully) I expect Citizenship test as well. I will be gone for a week. Once scheduled it might cause delays if rescheduled.... What is best way to approach IRCC to not schedule test in that 1 week? Just the webform?

Take those zillion and slam it on the table in front of the IRCC officer. Sir/Madam - which one you need..... They should feel the burden too.....

Congrats!! Yes, that is oath on 2nd page. Did you get in email, or mail? Also, do they take test and oath in Fort Mac? I though you have to come to Edmonton as Edm is your local office.

So, do you have to send some document, or they will do it on own? They must want history from US CBP

I got 2 actual FP notices in mail.....2 different envelopes. 2 exactly same FP requests. Maybe someone click the mouse button twice.

Seems like the October rush is showing up now with total jam in the system. Not even 50% October ones have test invite yet. Test invites/oaths have come to a grinding halt for October and November...................
