Does anybody know how long would it take to receive stamped visa on passport? I sent mine last sept. 5 and until now I am waiting. It's an application online within Canada sent to Ottawa. Thanks.

I have no dependents right at this time. But I think from what I also read from another forum that online application is only for yourself. So I guess try looking up in the cic website for application on paper. Hope this helps.

You should be fine, I thinks it takes some time for them to update in the system. Yours is better though, coz In my case i didn't get an AOR. But I had my application tracked with signature upon receipt so I know they received it. I read in this forum someone mentioned that not all VO sends AOR...

If your 4 years is up and you did not apply for open work permit and permanent residency, you are going to lose your status in Canada and worse be removed from the country. You still have enough time to prepare and submit your application, no reason to let it pass. Besides you don't wanna just...

Congrats! Btw, to all applying the temporary residence visa online. I applied via online last aug.27 and got an email request today and letter of instuctions to send my original passport within 30 days. So i think applying via online is quicker. :-) Just sharing to those who have the same...

Thanks! They received my application last week but i was thinking I should get an AOR before I can say they really started the processing already, you know... So I can start counting the months.... Lol! :-))
