Hello all. I just got a notification. The visitor visa application for my father is approved. He was the primary applicant. The application for my mother still shows in progress. Does this happen? They are under one single application. Why is the decision for my mother still in progress?

Preparing application for visitor visa for parents. The bank statements were taken in the beginning of november. But I will need one more week to get the application ready. Is it ok if we submit statements taken in beginning of november or should we get new statements? Thanks

Bank balance was 3 laks INR. But I believe FDs are also considered as liquid funds. All their savings are invested as FDs and we have all that included in asset management certificate.We did provide leave letter in the previous application. They have one more daughter living in another country.

We mentioned stay for 2 months. The purpose of visit stated was to visit as daughter is getting a new home. My mothers siblings are all in India other than that nothing else.

That is not required as per my understanding. I am doing this myself and in the new portal they dont even ask for parents siblings details

So my fathers mother is aged and is staying with them. We did not mention this specifically in the first application. This time we added this as a strong family tie back to home country. But me and my sister are here in Canada and thats why they refused the first application stating strong ties...
