I don't understand the rationale - why do they process all the inland applicants first? They're here working anyways and they are not in a rush to get the approval. Outland applicants on the other hand have been waiting and their plans to move have been seriously affected by the serious delay in...

I feel like they're processing mostly inland applications. Once most backlogs are clear, they hopefully will expedite the outland applications and really hope that the borders will be open by that time. There's no way you can land right now even with your CoPR... Fingers crossed. I share your...

I think you'll hear sth soon. Seems like for outland applicants they're moving up the date weekly. If they're doing mid- to late-June, you'll hear sth hopefully in about a week. Also, they stop giving people additional time to submit documents after ITA, that might hint that they're sort of back...

It's really frustrating that they keep inviting more and more people to apply but the processing is so slow. My bf who's an outland applicant has been waiting for any updates since Feb but nothing ever happened. I think they should hire people, speed up the process and then think about inviting...

That's my hope and feeling. The UK is super likely to resume international travel on May 17 and if the US will allow travel on May 21 I hope Canada will follow suit...

I feel like many inland applicants have got the approval lately but not sure about the outland ones. Probably they don't care that much because they can't allow you to come and land anyways before the travel restrictions are lifted.

My bf is an outland CEC applicant - the 6-month mark expired just on Monday and there's nothing. No updates, nothing. I think even with CoPR people can't travel yet because before landing you're not a PR, thus you will be barred from entering the country. Not sure if getting a job offer will...
