Any outland applicants from June 2020 got any updates? It's totally ridiculous to have been waiting for so long without any actions at all. I've just emailed my MP again to ask about the situation. Now the election is over, they should do their JOB!

Seems like they're not doing much with outland applicants and it doesn't make sense because fully vaccinated travellers can enter the border! I really hope someone can help this big group of people whose lives are in limbo due to IRCC's issues.

I think so too but that's just ridiculous. Most of the private corporations have had no problem handling new hires or approval for whatever while IRCC has manpower issues. If you don't have enough manpower - HIRE more to help you process or don't keep getting new applications.

Nope - I contacted them some time in August, his assistant responded back in like 10 days for the first time, I replied. The assistant then replied like 10 days later, and then now nothing...

If you troll through all the discussions here, CEC candidates are in a slightly better situation than other Express Entry applicants. That said, I still think IRCC isn't really doing their job well. If they can't handle the backlog, they should stop accepting applications and process them first...

Even they claimed they put in all manpower to process CEC applications, things are really slow. My bf is an outland CEC applicant and he applied Sept 8, 2020 and he's still waiting. If you check out the CEC forums there are people who're still waiting, with AORs in June or July 2020... So...

My bf is an outland applicant - AOR earl Sept 2020 and is still waiting. Just be patient and don't have any expectations from IRCC. These days they're prioritizing Afghans refugees so COPRs for Express Entry applicants regardless of the class will be slowed down...

I finally received my PR card two days ago, i.e. Aug 24. My application arrived at IRCC on April 16, 2021 and I didn't hear a word from them till early August. Then I waited for about 3 weeks before getting mine. I think yours should be on the way, real soon.

Oh, it's not the MP himself who contacted me, it's his assistant and he's been following up everything since the first day he contacted me. Fingers crossed. I've given him my and my bf's info so that he can run a check with IRCC for us. I hope to hear some good news soon.

I don't remember now, but I checked my status online today (finally made available) and saw "Decision made". Then when I clicked on it, the contents show that they've started processing my case. So I'm not sure what all that means TBH, but at least they're processing it. FYI: on IRCC website...

Today I finally managed to check my PR card renewal application status. On the main profile page, it says: Decision Made. But when I clicked on the link, it just says we've started processing your application. AOR: April 16, 2021 but they didn't inform me that till yesterday.
