Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

My application got approved today and I see update stating 'card is mailed. It will take 4 to 6 weeks to reach'. Is there any way to get the tracking number? Or we just have to rely on Canada post and wait for card delivery?

Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

Landed on 9th at YYZ. So it is about 8 calendar days. In fact I had to provide address next day through ircc call center as the immigration officer had some problem updating our address. So I called call center early on 10th jan, updated my address and then linked my PR card application in the...

Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

Hi, I landed in Jan second week. Today I see that my (and my family's) PR card application showed 'application/profile updated' but there is no change at all in the application status. Is it a ghost update that someone touched our application? Does it indicate anything?

Problem in obtaining Reference Letter from Infosys Ltd.

No. With each of the job reference letter, I added tax documents/salary certificates. For e.g. w2 from US, salary certificate and form16 from India. I also added some salary slips, from Jan/Jun/Dec of each year just to indicate that I was working throughout. However none of this is actually...

Police verification from India for H1B and H4

Local police station PCC or any PCC other than the one specified by IRCC is accepted. IRCC is very clear in communication. I don't understand what is the confusion. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/india.html...

Visa end date is same as your medical end date. If your medical is extended, then it is possible to have end date almost an year away. I got my visa with Sept 2020 as end date, I had sent my passport in Nov.

Did your medicals expire around this time? In my case, this change of status was triggered when primary applicant's medicals expired. This triggered a remedical request in a couple of days for me. In some case, CIC will simply extend the medicals and will not request a remedical. You will then...

I think you need to land before your COPR expires. Once you have landed and successfully cleared immigration, you become a PR. From that point onwards, your VISA/COPR date does not matter. You are a permanent resident at that point of time. Receiving or not receiving PR card does not change...

My passports are finally picked up by Fedex on the new labels I generated. Hoping to receive them in a couple of days in US. Is there any thread with definitive information on what all things to declare at landing? I am planning to land during Thanksgiving break (if I receive pp in time). It...

On average it seems 3 weeks after Ottawa receives passports. Add one more week for return. Check this thread: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/ppr-to-copr-journey-ppr-in-jan-feb-19.610143/page-141

PPR to COPR Journey - PPR in JAN/FEB-19

For me, it took exactly 3 weeks after passports reached Ottawa to get it approved update on the CIC account. Passport return had been a different story for me. CIC contacted me to send a new label from Fedex to return passports which I did immediately. No update (3 days) since then.

Your action is required || Biometric Information not updated

Yes I did. I had submitted my biometrics in March 2019. The status got updated in September when finally someone picked up my file. The only change in the meantime was that after 30 days of providing biometrics, the message changed to "We have not received your fingerprints. Check your...

No you don't need to submit passport of your son. The ppr letter clearly mentions that those from visa exempt countries should only send photocopy of passport. Your son is from a visa exempt country
