Interesting. Can pgwp app be withdrawn even if a student is already working on implied status? If yes, what will happen to the sowp extension that based from it? Also thinking of taking 2yrs now as the time might not be enough to complete the PR app based on 1yr study.

For this stream, is it prohibited to take another part-time/contract job on top of the full-time job that has the approved nomination? This is assuming that I still have the open work permit. Will it affect the application for PR?

If you stayed for longer than 6 months in another country, you will be required. It's one of the questions on the owp extension. If you answered yes to that, then you will be required to have medical.
