Glad to help! It's no a silly question. It confused me and I had to ask help about that on too when we first applied!

I just quickly looked at the spreadsheet and the time between SA and Additional Document Request. That time for you seems similar to others, so I would think they're just asking for it so your application is complete.

Only those applying for PR need to provide travel history (principal applicant, dependents). The sponsor doesn't need to.

Thanks! I'm not new to Canada but it's great to be here permanently now. Wishing you all the best and congrats! From DM, it took another week to get the copr in the mail (visa exempt). If not visa exempt, I guess you'll get a passport request? Landing was super easy. I guess at the airport...

I don't know if it helps but my COPR arrived on Oct 13, and it was mailed at the earliest on Oct 5 (date on COPR). It went from Paris all the way to the west coast of Canada in 5-6 business days!

They attach the signed copy of the COPR to your passport so you can travel while waiting for the PR card after landing. I actually have to travel next week so I'm glad the border agent stapled the COPR to my passport last night!

I sent an inquiry to the Paris VO yesterday asking what DM meant since I never heard from then in the entire process and it had been 5 days since DM... They responded and said my CoRP was mailed out last Friday!

It's nothing to worry about. Just send them a photocopy. It's possible you missed adding this to your application when you mailed it in. And Paris VO is just checking that your application is complete.

Seems like going to IP so fast is the new AOR2. I had the same thing happen. Check out the spreadsheet (link above in one of the others' signatures). They will do a passport request when a decision is made. Paris is quite fast... Spreadsheet will show. =)
