Please refrain from posting incorrect info. Saying “security in progress” absolutely does not mean it’s in security screening.

I mean LVO/ secondary office. Is Ottawa your LVO?

Background check has two parts. 1) Criminality 2) Security You have cleared the criminality and security’s in progress (though it says not started, high possibility that it has already started) What’s your VO?

Same here mate. Eligibility recommend pass, Medical and Criminality passed on 16th Jan. No update since then. It’s so disappointing. I am starting up my own business here and to secure govt funding, I need to be a PR. This delay in PR processing has literally changed all my plans smh.

As per my discussion with seniors on this forum, secondary office makes the final decision of your application. That's why I don't expect anything for next 2 months. Too disappointing mate. I literally know two batch mates who got their cec in 21 days and 45 days in 2018.

Seems like a long wait for CEC Edmonton folks.

Really hope so. I was so optimistic at the start but my optimism is converting into pessimism lately smh :(
