i think they ask because they understand different cultures and religions operate with their own beliefs. Someone in the west as a christain may think arranged marriage is weird but its completly normal in the east for example. A nikkah for example would be not seen as a typical marriage here...

hmm yea i think youre right....there is a delay about 24 in my other emails too. So my app tracker showed eligilibity completed but the new pr portal was showing in progress. actually it still says in progress. Lol

Hey guys when i logged into the tracker it says for the trv i have visitor visa document number etc and that its approved until june 2024, but i see nothing in the pr portal itself? maybe its not updated yet? no emails yet either

might be better to wait. AOR came 7 weeks after for me. TRV is supposed to take less than 4 weeks anyway. Youre gonna want to mention the AOR being received in your invitation for the trv anyway

i mean its your spouse, its sorta assumed youre going to be undertaking them. if you have any proof of suporting them financially already that really helps. Otherwise what I did was show my accounts, my job letter, tax returns etc

Oh I didnt even do that, sorry thought you were talking about photos. For that question I just wrote the amount of guests. Approx. I also attached wedding invite cards to show they were being sent

Generally, they want to see that your wedding has friends and family attending so it legitimizes your wedding event. What I did and was told to do was to just give who is in each picture and what is happening. example: uncle Bob goodman, aunt jerome badman etc etc. its not really an invasion of...

They appear in the same tracker account, since its by UCI. Plus when you apply you should immedaitly mention/write explaining how this is for your sppouse who already has a PR app submitted. Mention stuff like AOR and SA by name. Atleast thats what I think you should do. Might speed things up

no update on trv yet? ive seen folks who applied on june 3 and got approved on the 15th

I just applied 3 days ago, no decision yet. Important to note that this is tied to your spousal PR application (mine was updated and attached 1 day later) since its the same profile. Im sure they have access to your marriage proofs there as well. No point in doing a double investigation.

I dont know the exact correct thing to do But i included an english copy of NADRA marriage certificate

Hey guys I just applied for a TRV along side spousal outland on the new IRCC portal...and only in one spot on the signature field I realized i misspelled my name. Is this a big deal? it is an electronic signature field anyway

You can try to extend the TRV. I think its 30 day before or something like that. Shouldnt be any issue. Once you receive the AOR you can apply for her Open Work Permit as well.

Ive never heard of this, isnt medical sent directly to them?
