Hey congrats on the invite, just seeing this now. How long after you sent in the webform did you get any movement on the test invitation??

I'm checking 20 times a day. I don't think there have been any updates for Toronto recently, for test invites

Seems like the trend for us Torontonians is the same, they're lagging with the test invites. You don't happen to know which office is handling your application? I have no idea how to figure that out.

Admin please update: Background completed: May 9th It's a bit concerning now that I see most have already received their test invite/completed test, but I see a lot of people are in the same boat. It really is random.

I couldn't either until I received another email a week later telling me I can follow progress through the tracker!

Update: Just received our citizenship oath by xpress post, along with the receipt for the $160 charge. It doesn't have a tracking number for the passport, it just says that the passport will be delivered by courier. Application Sent: December 18th, 2020 Application Delivered: December 21st...

It's the very first one since becoming a Canadian citizen! Update, they called guarantor today again, and she confirmed everything so they are issuing the passport soon!

They left voicemail saying it's in regards to the passport application and they just have a few questions. She called them back and left a message when she is available for them to call and actually get through. Stressful but I'm glad that's it moving at least, I was expecting major delay...

Just an update. Our guarantor missed two calls on two seperate days from the passport processing office, so I guess nothing will continue until they can reach her.

We got a reply, on the 11th I believe, but it just said "we received the application and we are processing..keep in mind delays" , so not much to go off of. We concluded as much when they charged our mastercard. I was hoping for an estimated date of completion but we got no such thing.

She's on the timesheet under my username, sent app july 18th, test invite dec 24th, test jan 8th, dm jan 10th, and oath aug 12th scheduled for aug 17th!

My partner got an email invite for Oath Ceremony just now, scheduled for August 17th. She did the test on January 8th at Scarborough, we never heard back until now! Good luck to everyone else waiting on their application!
