So true. 2020 applicants are slightly better than 2019. Still we have to wait more than 3 months after DM. I don’t understand why they don’t give ceremony invitation to all 2019 than all 2020 applicants. Now I’ve heard some applied in 2021 already finished their ceremony while I’m in the fourth...

I applied in early July 2020, took test on July 1st 2021, and got DM on July 5th, still waiting for the oath invitation until now :( More than 3 months (>﹏<)

In the new system even you already DM it will still show “In Process”. You have to google to find the old ECAS to check if you got DM or not. Old ECAS for your convenience: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?lang=en

It seems the online applications are way more faster than paper applications. This is the second online case I heard about that has a fast processing time. Now it seem 2021 applications are faster than 2020, and 2020 applications are faster than 2019.
