I emailed the SCR office oath email after 10 days of LPP and they replied back with the oath date.

I requested for In person oath as family wanted it, oath rescheduled to 21st July for Inperson oath. Waiting for oath email

If the PR card is expired does it make a difference for Oath ceremony? Or does it need to valid for you to take the oath ?

So canadian Passport is not needed as original, only self attested copy. I think they need to fix their checklist then, as they mention original canadian passport in the checklist

Quick question : did anyone submit the application by mail and got surrender certificate without sending original Canadian passport? I hear horror stories about package getting lost so I feel scared for sending original Canadian passport

I have heard this happening for lot of people 1 week before oath, it come back online after application is completed.

I know I will not risk it with SCR office as my PR cards are also expiring cannot take chances with them. Just waiting for the official OATH email to come through so that this 19 month long process can finish finally.

I have not seen IRCC this efficient and considerate to adjust the oath based on in person preferences, I wonder should I request in person oath now

Does the official Oath email come 1 week in advance or does it come before also ?

Tracker updated with Oath In Progress and scheduled for July 13th. A week before PR cards expire

Check your tracker mine got updated with Oath date today, update was done on June 19th and it is reflecting today

Please keep me posted if you get an update on Tracker or get an actual Oath email, I am not fully sold on idea that some one has scheduled my oath but has not triggered an update to the tracker. Since the long wait I am always skeptic with IRCC

I am still hoping that oath email will come and tracker also will eventually get updated too. I am just wondering how did some one reply this early in the morning and why tracker is not getting updated.
