Guyana Applications but file was sent to Mexico visa office for further processing

We tried to get a visitor visa for my wife. But that was rejected because she didn't have strong enough ties in Guyana. So we didn't try again don't want to waste money. I regret not applying for her visitor visa before we got married.

Mexico VO is slow, no doubt about that. But you also have to remember the systems in place of most of the countries Mexico VO handles. Everything is paper based. Getting responses that the VO requires takes a long time as well. They can't just keep your file on top while they may have to wait 2...

They were called in for an interview at the embassy. I am not sure about the full details. All I know is that It was an arranged marriage. They did not have much communication before the wedding, and she stayed with her husband for a few weeks after marriage because she had her schooling to...

It's tough to say. Some people get PPR right after their interview. My wife's friend got their PPR about 7 months after their interview. They were asked to get new medical done too. Hopefully that's not the case. It all goes case by case.

What is your timeline? How long were you married before you sponsorship? A friend of my wifes had the same issue, and when they said under review they got called for an interview. It may not be the same for them. It took them a year after the response from them to get the ppr.

They would know regardless, when they run your husbands passport through their system. I applied for my wife's visitor visa. It got rejected. I informed them of it. I don't think you should lie on the application or hide anything. It can cause problems for you in the long run. You should mention...

I am in Guyana, They don't have a digitized police clearance system. I know if they wanted to get information from them, They would take a month at least getting back to whoever made the request.

Bring forward can happen when certain things on an application have not been verified too. Like if they are waiting for an answer back from the applicants country. So for example they could be verifying your police record and have not heard back from the police, so now the visa officer will have...

They should start sending them to India. Seeing how fast India is processing these files. If you want to get depressed go to a september, october and even november 2019 thread and you'll see people from India have already gotten their PPR.

That is terrible to hear. I hope everything goes well and your family is able to join you soon. They really need to get more people there. I understand they process for 8 or 9 countries but it just seems like everyone who's file is in Mexico is stuck.
