Yes, they don't send any email for the "In Progress" status change. This will only be available in the ECAS. After AOR, you may get the test invite or fingerprint request and it depends on a case by case.
It is clearly mentioned on their website that any document that is not in English or French should be translated. They almost always check the passport and travel stamps. It is our responsibility to keep the documents ready beforehand.
