Sadly I had to resubmit my application. because of the piece of ID that was missing.

My Application was returned December 2017. I resent January 12, 2018.

you should write to them....My husband got his visa since July 2017.

No they dont check to see if you have an active Application. I order mine way before i filled out the application and received it before submitting my application. Also, you can use this site, it's very helpful. http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/

you dont have to. you can enclose a copy of your PR Card. Follow the requirement of your document checklist
