There have been instances of CBSA at POE sending folks back because WP was expiring within a month or two. This is the reason many companies advise employees not to travel if the WP is expiring and to wait till its renewed. I reckon travelling to US via road might not be a problem.

ECA is also definitely required before creating EE profile along with satisfying other requirements. You need to say yes for educational evaluation during the process of EE profile creation else it will be ineligible.

OINP continues to accept Expressions of Interest for French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream, Entrepreneur stream and the Corporate stream.

You can apply EOI for multiple provinces at the sametime but you can only accept one.

OINP might open end of November 2016.
