How long background check took? When did background check changed to "in progress"?

Question for legalfalcon: Any idea on the expected timeline to receive PPR request on parents sponsorship. Visa office is London. Background check shows "in progress" one day ago. No military or any such involvement, and very little previous travel. Clean PCC from home country.

Rossie - Do you have any insight why this is the case? Are they now doing LIFO? It is frustrating to see this trend. One other member keep saying they are filing away older files but there is nothing to back that up except for the trend we see.

How did you figure out who was your program assistant. GCMS notes I've requested show someone by ID "SB03133" who is putting in screening notes etc. Do you know who would that be?

I really hope for folks to reply. GCMS notes for parents application with London visa office shows screening notes and updates by "SB03133". Does anyone know if this is the officer assistant or any info on it. I am trying to figure out if visa officer has looked at our file or not.
