Yes the website states they are open for walk-ins. Unfortunately, I applied by mail at the end of March and my card still has to be charged. I'm flying on May 30. Had I known, I would have applied in person.

My journey is officially over. I took my oath today at 11 am in Calgary. The whole ceremony took 15 minutes (make sure to have a pair of scissors handy to cut your PR card). Good luck everyone. It will be said and done very soon.

Yes, I had received the email for my initial citizenship back in March, cancelled later on because of COVID. There is no reason for it not to work anymore. I am not too worried but I'd like the situation to be sorted out.

I just checked my ecas and I apparently received an oath invitation on Monday for a ceremony on August 14. I have not received any email though, so I am going to contact cic about that.

We have an identical timeline and we are both in Calgary but my ECAS hasn't changed yet. Please update us as soon as you hear back from them. I will hopefully hear from them soon.
