One of the Sept 12 entries need correction, FP request falls before AOR date

I am waiting even after Fingerprints received 5+ weeks ago :(

Application submitted in Sept,,, BG pending after FP received,,,, called and was told office is working on SS. I read here it takes 6+ months and if that's true I just want to stop checking the tracker insanely.... Wonder how it's done for most folks within days.

I really want to know if there is any chance of SS to be completed before 6-8-10 months Because if it have have to take that long ,, then may be I should forget about citizenship for sometime,,, And invest my time and energy in other things. Any insight/response is appreciated!!! Thank you in...

I do not want to offend anyone, But 2months vs 5months vs 10months truly feels unfair!!

Exactly!!! I was expecting BG to be done very next day like it's for most people on the tracker. Kept on checking tracker like mad Little did I know about the Security screening. I thought it's done prior to test invite. But now, who knows......

what's your AOR date? Has the test been completed on tracker? My AOR Oct 28, Fingerprints received Dec 3 and BG still in progress? Expert forummer commented it's due to Security not passed yet? No clue why it takes longer for some of us

I am in Sept group and some of the folks' Oath ceremony timeline is close to just 2 months.,,,, who knows what's the logic but definitely frustrating to watch the bias

I am frustrated at how come for many applicants BG is completed soon after FP's received,,,, even I am stuck at BG pending after FP. Looking at forum trackers, everyone BG completed next day except a very few of us. Will never know how it works!!!

Appreciate your response!! Is it true that one of the BG check component (security/criminality) must be completed for the test invite?? or there's no connection at all? Thank you in advance

Haha .... not everybody understood two words o_O Well, atleast you guys are close to the finish line. I am still stuck at BG even after Fingerprints received. Curious and anxious because its getting done for 99.99% candidates very quickly after FP. Not in a big rush as I have no travel plans...

I guess it's only two of us,, as per forum tracker... its completed in couple of days after receiving FP. I am thinking whether employment history could be the reason, as three companies are involved in the job I do but I could list only 1 in the section while filling the application.

Many of us got the first GU few days after in process. No idea what is it for My assumption is, it was for BG check as many saw BG completed in a couple of days. Also heard that BG check time varies; it may take days, weeks or even months. But, yes, the wait is saddening!!!

Their answer "Your application is within 17 months processing time" :cool: Someone's application finalised on Nov 2 and the guy is still waiting for Oath. --- MIS

SCR & MIS are famous for the delay,,, if your file is at one of these, then you shouldn't be worried about what's happening with other's timelines!! We are the chosen ones ...:rolleyes:

What date was LPP completed?? (vs. Tracker update)
