I suspect that the date on the website is generally a week or two behind the actual dates they are working on, since January 10th & 11th were being opened back when it first said January 3rd (nearly 2 weeks ago)... I imagine they must check the PO Box once a week so when they haul everything...

Does anyone happen to know what day / time of day (time zone) they update the processing times on: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp I thought it was Tuesdays, but last week it happened on a Wednesday, Pacific time. Maybe it's just random, whenever they get around to it?

I think you get an actual letter, but you might also be able to check it on eCAS.

ddobro2 My theory regarding the application processing times is that it could relate to the health of the world economy. Possibly applications have increased because certain countries are experiencing greater hardships than in the past, just a theory. There is certainly a lot more red tape...

Hi ddobro2 Strangely the Xpresspost 2-day service from Canada Post, which I used, gave me the option of delivering to either address. Which address did you send to out of curiosity?
