I was FINALLY able to send a fax to Mississauga just now. Phew! I spent all day yesterday dialing that number and it just never answered. I even called to let them know there was a problem with the fax machine and they insisted there couldn't be, because they'd have been informed about it...

Did anyone other than me NOT pay their RPRF "Right of Permanent Residence Fee" before sending in their application? I had a harrowing day of getting it paid and notifying various offices that its been paid. Who did you send your receipt to and how? I paid online, emailed the receipt to my VO...

You know it's not too late to apply for both inside and outside and see which one gets processed first. ha ... at least you'd get an open work permit... and then if one finishes before the other, cancel the alternate application and get your money back. ;D

I'm not sure it's quicker, but inland, at least you get an open work permit right away, so it's just as good as having PR.

I received an email confirmation from Sydney VO last night, 27 March, confirming my PR application has been received by CIC... on 11 January??? Thats the date my package arrived in Mississauga. It informs me of my UCI and application number.

Our letter of sponsorship approval arrived today, 27 March. Dated 19 March but postmarked 20 March. Nice to have something on paper. :)

I wrote to my VO and got the same auto reply but got a real reply 4 days later.

Our ecas is up to date and we were approved on the 19th. Your PR app should have arrived at your VO by the 23rd of March. Try emailing your VO to get email confirmation that theyve received your app.
