I think you've basically said it....yes they'll make mistakes and that's life....however we need to give them 'zero' chances to pull any application based on 'our' mistakes.

I'd have to disagree with you....yes we are humans and prone to making mistakes....however as the user has stated, when applying for such an important thing as Citizenship, then you need to be ensuring you've made '0' mistakes and checking it 10 times! I mean how can you forget?!

If they've sent your cert back then one would assume they've also checked that you application and pic etc are all good....as for how long it takes I couldn't say as I had mine sent to the UK but I'm sure it shouldn't be too long

I'm also a UK citizen and now Canadian, how long will you be in the UK for....reason is you can get your passport by submitting to the high commission in the UK but if it's a flying visit why not pay extra in Canada and expedite it?

A question why are you posting this in this forum? Why not contact the college directly or the agent or whichever route you've taken? As an ex-Centennial college worked I know that there International dept. is very prompt and diligent with applications as they simply can't afford to sit on them...
